The main objective of cooperatives is to promote self help,
mutual help and help among the members for achievement of specific
target to ensure economic betterment of the members and also
to render services to the members without profit motive.
For achievement of the said objective, different types of societies
are working as per the requirement of the members such as PACSs,
JFCSs, LCCS, ECCSs, Consumer Cooperatives etc., The cooperatives
have come into existence for removal of rural indebtedness and
to bring out the rural poor from the clutches of money lenders.
The cooperatives are being used as tools for alleviation of
poverty. The philosophy of cooperation is "EACH
FOR ALL AND ALL FOR EACH" and to propagate the
ideas of cooperative philosophy and cooperative principles among
the members for all round development of socio economic needs
of the members concerned.
